What is Home Automation?
What do you want it to be? This will be our reply to you. We at Home Automated Solutions pride ourselves on giving you the customer, solutions that suit your needs, not what we believe your needs to be. We will work with you every step of the way gathering your requirements, specifying products that fit in with your budget and achieving as much as we possibly can with them without sacrificing system performance.
Installations will be undertaken by qualified electricians to a very high standard, & programming by highly qualified software engineers. We will also provide you with diagrams detailing exactly how the system hangs together, and we won't stop there! Training will be provided on all aspects of your new system. Once you have lived with the system for a month or two, there may be some changes you would like to make, no problem we will call to see you to discuss the changes and program it to your liking.
"Isn't that expensive?" I hear you say, well actually NO. We use a system from Control4 whose aim is to bring the automated home to the masses. We also share this aim and don't believe that the only people who should be enjoying the benefits it brings should be the rich and famous. Systems can start from as little as £1000, and you would be amazed at what you get, the best thing is you can grow your system as and when you like by adding more audio points, lighting etc.
So what can be controlled?
Home Cinema
How many remote controls do you have? How would you like to replace them with one simple remote? With a Home Theatre Controller and a System remote/Touch Panel you will be able to control every device in your living room. Imagine selecting a DVD from the onscreen interface pressing play and relaxing as the lights dim, curtains close, fireplace turns on, and the film starts. Your imagination is the only limitation. Oh and by the way the Home Theatre Controller can also give you an additional zone of audio, not just the same audio but two separate streams of audio!
Lighting
Any lighting inside or outside your home can be controlled. Imagine picking up the remote and turning the lights on outside or dimming the lights upstairs, what if you need to go to the toilet in the night want the lights on but don't want to wake anyone? We will install a motion sensor on the landing so when you walk out of the bedroom the lights will gradually turn on to a set level, and we can program the system so as this will only happen during the night!
Security
You will be able to set your house to goodnight mode on going to bed, no need to worry about lights or TV's being left on, at the touch of a button we can turn them off and also arm your alarm!
What if you have a fire?
We can program the system to flash the lights start playing music, what ever you want to happen we will be able to do it
What if someone breaks in?
If the alarm is armed we could do all sorts to deter the burglar, you want dogs barking we can give you a dog in every room playing through speakers. We could also schedule the dog to bark at random times, like I have said previously it's down to you imagination!
Music
How often have you looked for that certain CD and not been able to find it, or want to play an MP3stored on your PC or MP3 player in another room? We can give you multiple zones of audio with music stored in one central location and give you the ability to browse through albums by the album cover art just as you would from a jukebox, this can be done using the onscreen interface and the remote, the remote on its own from anywhere in the house, or via touch screens. Imagine docking your mp3 player in any room and being able to select tracks stored on it to play in another room. What about having a party, join every room to the party and play the same music throughout the house!
